Biography
Hello and welcome to my page! My name is Bill Masivi (aka Bill Mansiantima) and I am an amateur photographer based out of Los Angeles. I grew up in the Southern California area (Inland Empire stand up!) and went to UC Irvine, graduating with a degree in chemical engineering. I currently reside in Los Angeles, professionally working as an engineer.
Throughout this time however, I have been developing my skills as a photographer. I was first introduced to photography by simply taking an intro class my senior year of high school. Something I initially thought would just fulfill my graduation requirements unexpectedly developed into a true passion of mine. I dabble in a few different mediums, but I definitely have a soft spot for film photography as most of my photos are captured using that medium.
My Work
With my art style, I love to capture the moments around me as if I am not there. I enjoy recording the genuine smiles, laughter, and energy of that instant. I feel as though my pictures invoke a sense of nostalgia and a desire to return to the point in which the photo was taken.
I like to take photos in several different environments including city nightlife, events/gatherings, portraits, as well as scenic photos.
